Twitter announced this week that it now supporting account creation using an Apple ID or a Google account. New users can use their Apple ID to sign up on the web, iPadOS and iOS and then choose whether to give Twitter their real email address or hide it by using Apple’s relay service. However, Twitter does require that a date of birth is inputted.
However, it seems that there are some issues with making an account with an Apple ID, for now it can be hard to deactivate an account, change a profile name or change the email address on file due to the account having no password. Twitter might address this in the near future.
